I would like to try this again.
You know those times when you're having half a grapefruit and you love the juice but it's a nuisance digging out the fruity parts because your spoon keeps crashing into those little divider things and after a while, after many many grapefruit halves and far too many spoon/divider collisions, and you have aged considerably in the interim, you start thinking this is just too damn big a nuisance I think I'll just buy the Minute Maid and drink this stuff from a bottle? Remember those times?
Well, a grapefruit is a euphemism for blogging. Very deep, let me repeat that. A grapefruit is a euphemism for blogging (cleansing breath ... two more ... one more ... and relax).
Blogging: great juice, too many dividers. The truth sets us free. But what if a person ... let's say a person with a blog-infested past who is also a lying person, someone with bastard-like qualities who has been aging relentlessy and now can barely digest citric acid any more for Christ's sake ... what if a person like that suddenly realized that his newly discovered crankiness, a result of his having not enough actual grapefruit halves in his life but too much acid reflux, was now in a position not only to once again acknowledge his addiction to positive feedback from wonderful blog-reading people he has never met, but also to capitalize on his advanced state of physical and mental deterioration as a source of bloggable fodder? What then? Would he continue to follow a 115-word sentence with a 2-word sentence? Would the blog-starved masses find interest in the collapsing mind of an aging, formerly viable blogger who might just drop dead in mid-sentence? Would his compromised memory cause him to repeat an entire post without realizing it?
Let's find out.
